20.10.09 | Meeting in Washington: Celebration Collaboration US & NL
Washington DC - The Ambassador of the Netherlands in Washington D.C.
introduces the Public Security Innovation Center (PSIC) – Gateway to
Europe for UICDS Technology Providers.
The Ambassador of The Netherlands in the United States of America, her
Excellency
Mrs. Renée Jones-Bos of the Royal Embassy of the Netherlands in
Washington D.C. , has made the time to meet us to celebrate the
collaboration between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the
Public Security Innovation Center in The Netherlands (PSIC). Léon de
Bruijn and Carlo Bakker represented PSIC at the meeting.
The PSIC is a demo center and test bed for Public Security located in
the Hague, The Netherlands, which will be launched on October 20 this
year, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
PSIC will be a launching pad for U.S. technology providers, wishing to
enter the promising European market.
U.S. vendors, participating in the UICDS program, will have a special
advantage, since PSIC has adopted the UICDS as its main information
sharing technology.
This meeting was about the benefits of being a PSIC member, which
include integration in technology demonstrations at the PSIC, receiving
leads from interested prospects who visit the PSIC, use of the PSIC
facility for either in-person or remote demonstrations of your products,
participation in European tenders and grant programs and much more. It
was a very successful meeting.
