No cucumber time, as they say in Dutch, for PSIC. Last week we had
visitors from six different countries in our Demo Center. On Monday we
had our own consultant from South Africa, Chris Greyling, who is working
with Mobisafe and the Dutch Embassy to realize a project in Egypt, to
sustain the democracy building efforts. On Wednesday we had visitors
from Panama, who are interested in a whole range of services to increase
the security at the airport and around it. They were excited about the
technology offered by PSIC members, from bullet proof gear to tracking
devices, scanners and secure phones. On Thursday we had a visitor from
Denmark, representing Sky-Watch. Sky-Watch has signed up as a PSIC
member, because they are very interested in our industry approach for
the Oil and Gas sector, as well as the anti-piracy world. Thursday also
brought us our Innovincy friends from Switzerland, a company focusing on
the security and cashless payment solutions for large events. Finally,

17.08.2011 | PSIC employees in action with workshop VSTEP
Last 14th of July, a few PSIC employees followed VSTEP's simulation
programme "RescueSim" training in the PSIC Demo Center. The training
given by VSTEP's Jeroen Boon, Simulation consultant & product manager,
was organised to have a better understanding of the product and to be of
better service to our member VSTEP. Ahmet Çinici, PSIC Marketscan &
Research: "I liked the fact that with RescueSim, you can easily create a
'calamity scene' without the need for a real training place. This way
you'll drastically reduce your expenses, and you'll have a chance to
view the area from a bird's eye".
About RescueSim
RescueSim prepares safety and security professionals for incidents in a
virtual environment, without the dangers, costs and time associated with
traditional practical training. RescueSim is a specialised virtual
training platform that creates a realistic 3D replica of the real-life
working environment and simulates realistic incident scenarios.
RescueSim is used by leading Industrial Fire Departments, including BP,
Shell, DSM Chemelot, Port of Rotterdam and Fire Departments & Rescue
Services worldwide. Learn more about VSTEP and RescueSim:
