	The Public Security Innovation Center (PSIC) delivers innovation, integration and interoperability in public security for end-users worldwide. As an independent and open platform for proven technologies in public security, PSIC offers a vast network of integrated security solutions, linking vendors to government, business, international organizations, and the public. PSIC supports public security by guiding technology innovation and information sharing throughout the entire life cycle of public security. Because public security events (natural disasters, technical failures, terrorist attacks) can be neither predicted nor prevented with absolute assurance, the entire life cycle of public security must be engaged to ensure continual processing: from prevention to protection to response to recovery. PSIC identifies technology innovation and information sharing opportunities that lie in the performance of the major functions of these public security lifestyle phases. PSIC's state-of-the-art Demo Center in The Hague simulates situations and demonstrates solutions for potential end-users. Participants also take their expertise on the road to visit businesses and local governments with public security needs worldwide.
