Biography | Emmie van Halder, Chief Executive Office and Founder of PSIC

Emmie van Halder-Eicher has a phenomenal network in the International business community, built up over her career as an entrepreneur. Her knowledge of marketplaces, industry and business leaders and trends is impressive on both sides of the Atlantic.

Emmie’s entrepreneurial career began in 1985 when she established the Netherlands' first executive offices -The Dutch Business Centers - and expanded this venture into Spain. She went on to establish the Netherlands' first call center hotel, Protocall, which she later successfully sold. 

Emmie has worked with many of the leading technology companies in the world over her career.

Her expertise in the last decade has focused on Public Security, building networks worldwide. She has organized large events in this sector, such as the Biotech Conference in The Hague in 1999, Genomics Momentum 2004 and the European Plant Genomics conference in Amsterdam in 2002. She also organized the Dutch delegation to Bio 99 and 2000.

After organizing a number of events in the Security Industry, such as Main Port Security, she started the Public Security Innovation Center in 2008. Since then, PSIC has developed into a mature platform, which operates successfully in the international security arena under her leadership.

Emmie is a Dutch citizen, speaks five languages (English, Dutch, German, French and Italian) and has lived and worked in the US, Canada, Israel, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
